Do guests or staff need to install the app to access keys?
No. Guests or temporary users can access the key box using a dynamic or time-limited passcode generated by the administrator. The app is only required for managers who control access and settings.

Can I see who accessed the key box?
Yes. Bluetooth unlock and dynamic passcode usage are recorded in the app. You can review the unlock history and see which user generated each access code for better accountability.

Is WiFi required for the key box to work?
No. The key box works locally using Bluetooth and keypad passcodes. The optional WiFi gateway enables remote unlock and remote management when you are off-site.

What happens if the batteries run out?
The key cabinet uses an external battery compartment, so you can replace the batteries without opening the door. Once new batteries are installed, the system will resume normal operation immediately.

The cabinet includes a physical backup key that allows emergency access if electronic unlocking is unavailable, ensuring you can always retrieve your keys when needed.
